BBC New Comedy Award 2021 finalist and winner of Best New Act in the 2021 Midlands Comedy Awards – Ricky Balshaw is making waves as the new act on the block having performed solo shows at both the Leicester Comedy Festival and Brighton Fringe in 2022. A retired horse rider with a decorated career including a Silver Medal from the Beijing Paralympic Games, Ricky has more recently worked as a Channel 4 presenter at the Paralympic Games in London, Rio and Tokyo.
