Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award nominee – Susan Riddell, has fast become one of the UK’s most exciting names making The List’s Hot 100 2024 she has also been selected as a judge for the BBC New Comedy Awards and is a runner up in the Funny Women Stage Awards.

Her ability to spin gold from everyday mundane subjects along with her natural, relaxed delivery has earned her sold out shows at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival in both 2023 & 2024.

Susan is a regular panelist on BBC’s Breaking the News, The Good, the Bad and the Unexpected and recently presented BBC Edinburgh Unlocked. Susan has written and starred in her own BBC mini Sitcom pilot Dregs and co-hosts the Material Girl podcast.

Susan regularly provides tour support for Fern Brady & Larry Dean as well as Lucy Beaumont, Adam Kay and Ardal O’Hanlon.
